Description
The Metallic splice closure is made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, it delivers high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for outdoor installations, with sealing rings and silicone providing protection against moisture, dust, UV rays, and environmental contaminants.
The cap-type design enables secure closure and tool-free access to internal optical fiber splice trays during maintenance, the enclosure withstands operational temperatures from -40°C to +60°C, atmospheric pressure from 70kPa to 106kPa, and seismic activities. Tensile strength exceeds 2000N, with sealing capabilities maintaining internal pressure stability and a service life beyond 25 years.
Applications include tower and pole installations at intermediate and terminal splicing points in overhead cable systems across telecommunications networks, data centers, and power distribution infrastructure. The joint box accommodates multiple cable configurations for network expansion and maintenance in environmentally challenging areas.
